Lynn Grayson graduated with a BFA from Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in 2000, with the honor of the Stobart Fellowship and a solo show at the College the following year. While at the Lyme Academy she taught painting and figure drawing classes and acted as the student rep on the college’s accreditation committee for the NEASC. In the summer months she could be found either studying at the Art Students League in NYC or the Bond Street Cottages in Brighton UK. After graduating the Lyme Academy she continued teaching classes there in Portfolio Development for high school students, Figure Drawing and Anatomy and Methods/Materials of Paint Making.

In 2001 she moved to NYC to pursue her art career where she lived and painted for eight years. In NYC her commitment to art led her to show her paintings in a solo show in Chelsea in 2006 at Lyons Wier Ortt gallery, Scope Art fairs, Sozo Collective in Birmingham UK, QBIX gallery among many others. She has shown her work all over the world resulting in her art work being in many prestigious private collections. While in NYC she taught and volunteered at the Children’s Museum Of the Arts in Soho. A fabulous non-profit art museum/ working studio for children and Adults. Having done yoga since she was 15 she became certified a certified yoga instructor from the Laughing Lotus Yoga school and combined the two and worked to teach yoga and art to children including teen-age mothers and in day care programs. Lynn also founded the E=Mc2 gallery, worked at Sarkana Paints; a paint making factory and has donated many artworks to charitable organi- zations from the Children’s Museum of the Arts to the Cancer 101 founda- tion’s annual Boat House Gala at the Central Park Boathouse in NYC.

Lynn has been awarded many awards, grants and fellowships throughout her art career. In 2007 she became a Lambent Fellow from the highly re- garded TIDES Foundation as well as a grant recipient from the Sugarman Foundation in 2008. For one of her recent ongoing art projects she has teamed up Margarete Jadamec PHD. This project delves into the world of art and Geo-physics. This project entitled, “Living with Plate Boundaries”, involves traveling the world painting different visual areas of tectonic fault lines. The work, which is still in the process of researching and completing, will hopefully inspire and educate viewers to become educated and involved of their surroundings through the combination of art and education. Cur- rently five pieces from this series are on display at the Monash University in Melbourne Australia.

Having acted and modeled in NYC, she has continued to do so since moving to Malibu in 2008 and grown to work in production management for many creative projects as well as launching a homegoods products line. She has been photographed by world known photographers Nat Finkelstein and Luccia Griggi among others. While in La she has completed storyboards for a feature films with Val Kilmer, Rumer Willis, Taylor Cole, Sunny Garcia, Dominic Purcell produced by Michael Oblowitz . With Concrete Images she helped in production of the Eygptian American Organizations Play, “The Country Within”, Written by Fazia Shereen and performed at the Irvine Barclay Theater. She has Production managed a commercial with Buzz Aldrin and a music video with Christina Sturmerr with director Andreas Kidess . Her artwork can be seen on NBC t.v shows, “Ready for Love” and Jerry Bruckheimer and Warner Brother’s , “The Whole Truth”. In 2014 she founded two hurricane surf art charity shows, rktobktola, with art curator Sarah Belden. She exhibited in the annual American Airlines and Universal Music Groups ArtWorksfortheCure benefit for the T.J. Martell Foundation and Music’s Promise for a Cure. Most recently she joined in helping Calavera Tequila’s launch party by painting live models, which is aired as an episode for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Her hobbies include creating surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, horseback riding and singing Francoise Hardy each morning to her cat Aurora Borelias.
